I was at this concert and it was the most unforgettable live experience I had ever had, or probably will ever have. One thing you cannot experience from the video is Pink Floyd's complete, immersive surround sound (which they were pioneers of). It was truly incredible. You need to watch the opening song "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" - I'd love to see your reaction to that! And I totally understand your emotional reaction. I've been listening to Pink Floyd for over 50 years and they STILL make me feel that overwhelming emotion, even though I've heard every song literally hundreds of times. There has never, ever been another group of musicians who could hit you so emotionally on that level. All the best.

I too was at the concert in Earls Court, sadly not on the recording night but the next day. The video is good but cannot let you feel how great it was, there was so much there that you miss in the video, the music hit you, the heat from the flares, the millions of lights from the mirror ball (sorry if that's a spoiler, have you done that song yet?), the whole evening was overwhelming. I've also been to a lot of concerts but never one like that where the audience just sat there unable to take it all in. A truly amazing evening. If you haven't tried it yet Comfortably Numb from Pulse or On the Turning Away from their Delicate Sound of Thunder concert.

The only problem with watching the opening song, "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", was that they omitted to play the 3rd guitar solo prior to the vocals, which was such a shame - they could've done the song huge respect of playing it faithfully to the audio version. Never mind, they have recorded what we have recorded - for posterity.

I sometimes feel like I lived my life in the golden era of Rock. I was able to see most of the greatest bands to ever walk the planet. Stones, Who, Sabbath, Rush, AC/DC, Elton John, McCartney and many more. But nobody was better than Floyd. I saw them four times live and it still wasn’t enough. Their concerts were spiritual events. It’s almost impossible to describe in words how amazing they were see and listen to in person

Again, I must say…..I am so impressed with you two. Overwhelmed…….is the appropriate feeling. Pink Floyd does overwhelm your senses. I am an old rock n roller who has seen hundreds, if not thousands of bands in my life time, and I guarantee you…..no other band has ever made me “feel” like PF makes me feel. After years over listening to them (especially this concert) I still cry, I am amazed, I sit in silence, I cheer, I clap, and I am in awe of the talent and abilities of this group. Including the light show, the sound engineers and all the support staff that made this concert possible. If you want a break from the emotional weight of Pink Floyd……you need to listen to some Supertramp. They are another English band who are every bit as musically talented as PF, but who have a lighter, more melodic approach to their music. I often switch over to Supertramp after a Pink Floyd session. They are well worth the effort. Thanks again for your beautiful reactions.❤️🇨🇦👍

When the album "The momentary laps of reason" came out, we took our big Loudspeakers out on the balcony at the party for new years day and the song "Sorrow" played into the atmosphäre. I love Pink Floyd since my age of 12, at 1970. My older brother and sister "gave" music to me. I have many LPs and could enjoy them live. Btw: one of the background singer is Sam Brown.

The word I always used to describe Pink Floyd's music (especially live) is immersive. It's not background music you half listen to while you do something else. When they play, you're in it. It surrounds you, it permeates you. Everything else is background noise you tune out.

Dominika I have a solution for your dilemma. When you feel overwhelmed, put your headphones back on and put the music on repeat. Each time it will connect more deeply and your mind and imagination will become one with it. After over 50 years listening, they standalone!

I can only say, I Love you two. I was there for this tour in BC. I was in back. it was insanely perfect. What i would like to add. In the video when the lights white out the entire stage? that is not how the camera percieves the event. it actually looked like that. the entire stage whited out in a soft glow of whiteness. the peak of the arc of stage lighting was about 5 story building high.

dominika's reaction is the most honest, adorable, heartfelt reaction i've seen regarding floyd.she's got a good ear as having a good ear you not only listen but also feel, pink floyd absolutely overwhelm you with feel, passion, soundscapes, timing, atmosphere and heart.numerous times i've been listening to them and reflected on my life and dear departed loved ones and had to get myself together as i was that choked.keep the reactions coming folks and show roger waters some love and give "the wall live in berlin 1990" a go,namely "nobody home" my song and the line "i've got a strong urge to fly...but i've got nowhere to fly to" pretty much sums up my life, also a total showstopper "another brick in the wall part 3/goodbye cruel world" has to be one of the greatest performances ever.roger's power, feel, anger, theatrics etc are a sight to behold."hey you" another classic with paul carrick what a voice.for more roger "perfect sense" from the in the flesh concert, have a good day folks

For me there is no one else that can touch your innermost being with their guitar quite like David Gilmour can....absolutely love it!! Regarding their stage and light show/surround sound. Remember, 3 of the 4 original band members met in architectural school (and all graduated) which to my simple mind gave them a really unique perspective for designing their shows, and they had a great team!🤘

i do love the 2 of you, so much. in choirs, they have a saying, to create a 'wall of sound'. pink Floyd create a wall of emotion, with both sound and visuals. when other bands have a guitar solo, it stands out above all else. not Pink Floyd. and you're so right; it's so simple. nothing is technically difficult, but it's so immensely effective and no-one else does it like they do. i remember, when i was a teenager, in the late 60s-early 70s, we were the first generation to experience bands that created huge soundscapes and played with sound, to play on the emotions. it was powerful, and we weren't used to it, so it affected us so deeply. then we got used to it, so it was no longer fresh and vital and effective. we still enjoyed it and it never lost it's magic, but it could never be quite the same as it was when we first encountered it. now i see people like you both. this generation are no longer used to it. today's music is devoid of this power, in the soundscapes, and emotion, in the same way. so i'm enjoying seeing you reactors feeling it freshly, in the way that we did, back then. i never grow tied of watching people like you. but especially you two, as you are such a lovely couple. you need to react to the PULSE version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. it's so beautiful and nowhere near as powerful. just serene and calm and wonderful.

Hi guys a bit late to this one due to travel. Isn't it just incredible? How they always find a way to pierce your soul is just unique- NO-ONE can do it like Floyd! A little info - those big notes plays at start, middle and end- when I saw these shows at London Earls Court, the walls visibly shook. The sound is turned up loud, very loud, and is quadrophonic so t comes at you from all directions. It goes way, way beyond just being great music and a great show - it gets inside you & takes you to a place that only they know how to find. Floyd can be an overwhelming - we've all been there, so don't feel bad! The visuals- they signed up the best in the business. They asked what the budget was. David smiled and replied "Yes" 🙂 Nothing is left to chance to make the show the very best it can be. If I had a time machine, I'd take you back to the Pulse tour & provide your tickets. I love your reactions, guys. And you are, I have no doubt- good people.

Hello to you two beautiful people. What a great genuine and loving couple you are, and thank you for the fantastic reactions especially to the Pink Floyd songs. I'm 65 and have being an avid PF fan since the Meddle album was released in 1970-ish. They are by far my favourite band and David Gilmour is the G.O.A.T. You were wondering about the Lighting design...the engineer is Marc Brickman, and his Wikipedia page will tell you a ton of info about him. For your coming PF song reactions I suggest 'Echoes' from their Gdansk concert, 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' from Pulse, and 'On The Turning Away' from their Momentary Lapse Of Reason tour footage...but there are so many to choose from you can't go wrong because they are quite simply the greatest band ever imo. É exatamente isso Domenica. A música do Pink Floyd me faz levitar, limpar todas minhas emoções, me alivia e me fortalece ao mesmo tempo. Senti isso muitas vezes ouvindo Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Echoes, US and Them, Great Gig in The Sky, Money, Sorrow, Confortably Numb, etc. A arte mobiliza e transforma e a música do Pink Floyd é prova disso. Podem reagir à Nick Mason, Green is the Colour, or Childhood's End? Obrigado.

Hi,this is Fady,i just want to say that your reaction on Pink Floyd songs is amazing and plenty of emotions , i had listen to Pink Floyd for many years ,and I have all their albums as well their live concerts CDs. Appreciat if you do the reaction on their song One Of These Days from the same concert Pulse (the greatest concert they have done) , and if possible their song:On the turning away from Delicate Sound of Thunder Concert , and i would like to thank you for your emotional reactions. My best, Fady. 2:06

when the music is more able to express the feeling of sorrow, than words can ever do! Thats what it's all about to create a masterpiece, and its not only the music, its the kind of tone chosen and composed, the ambience and the light, that perfectly support that. No wonder, that you could not express your feelings, words simply can not do this. So, that is the epitome of psychodelic rock, which comes from the 70s and aimed to pinch the psyche and create delight or sorrow or whatever feelings are possible, No drugs needed, just music. See, this is 45 years old and still has just such an impact today. When i was a child, i heard o lot of classical music which then may be 100 years old or 200 and was considered important for ever. I think this is not bit less important and will also stand the test of time. It once will also get a period adequate classification like baroque, rokkoko or romantic music got. In the last decades i have not heard any nearby in depth music, since that very very productive and versatile music period. And all the classical composers hat the ability to get such a variety of tones and ambient support.
