I just saw a video about using egg whites to slick your hair back. Just brush them on with a brush or pile them on and rub it in and then slick your hair back and let it dry/dry it with a blow dryer.

I prefer the retro 80 look where you fluff your hair out really nice. You wave the hell out of it. You get a nice big mohawk thick top going backward and then you put two combs on the side. It pulls your hair back gives you a beautiful shape to your face and makes your hair really fluffy a mohawk way.

I’m a wig wearer because of hair loss. But what a treasure! I can be a blonde, a brunette, auburn, black or gray, nah I don’t want to be gray. But it’s so much easier to put a cute, fun pink wig on for some such thing or another. You can’t go wrong. My favorite is from Rene of Paris Sage in Watermelon R. Adorbs!!!

This has always been my go to when I want to do minimal effort but looks like I tried. I just don’t slick anything back. I didn’t know it was called a “wet look” it’s basically just scrunched & tossed around til it looks like I have some volume & body. Typically I use moose & hair spray for this look.

Early 2000s, I used to use wet hair and gel, a claw headband pulled at angle (bottom behind the ears and top at the apex of your head), set with hairspray, and gently remove when set to get the wet look. Pull a few tendrils for magic, i.e., balance the big forehead and *voilà*
