@@WillianyAmill and indie films don't deserve awards?
@WillianyAmill4 жыл бұрын
@@SuperMandibleclaw they get independent rewards, which max and Mary did receive but they aren't eligible for such rewards as the Oscars or Golden globes. A huge part of that is they didn't have commercial marketing or help from huge Hollywood studios and they never got played in huge box office theater's. indie films get introduced at film festivals for audiences and film buffs that general go not knowing what they are even going to be introduced to. It's like purchasing a mystery box. You get a ticket you sit through hours of different films, you write notes and determine what a worthy piece of art it is and if it should be green lit or taken on by a huge studio.

This song is so beautiful.. and also the entire scene including it. Her swaying on the table as everything fades to black and all the pictures are booming around her. She's a hopeless woman who can't forget her past mistakes and choices, and tries ending it then and there the worst way possible (there's 3 things that could've killed her there. The alcohol, the medication overdose, or her uhoh-rope. She could easily have all 3 affect her at once too.)

I would watch this movie with my mother a long time ago, and fall in love with it. Now I'm 17, and I can understand further why many things were like they were in the story. As a guy with asperger, I am yet to accept myself for having this condition. And something I experience is long term online friendships, because I'm sheltered at home and can't go out that much. A couple of hours ago, I had hurt my dearest friend and was afraid of losing him. Gladly, I didn't, but the outcome of losing him would have possibly ended in the worst. This is why this movie touches me even more nowadays.

One of my favorite animated films ever. Everything about it is amazing yet so tragic, and I always cry at that ending. I related to the characters so much, especially Max. This scene hits so heavy and captures how you feel when you're near that ending point stunningly, as someone who has had to deal with this situation many times before. The music is just the chef's kiss, amazing song and visuals. So so underrated and underappreciated.😢❤
