To those saying he was walking on the redds: No, he wasn't. He was trying to get out of the water and all those fish were migrating up river. The part that is being shown in this video is located at the lower part of a river and all those pink salmon go way up to a hatchery many miles up the river from where you see in the video. So, don't bash this dude for trying to save his life from the flood. He just wanted to share beautiful nature with all you rude people. Enjoy it or leave it.

Those aren't redds. This guy didn't do anything wrong, but I don't see anybody complain here, maybe he shared it on reddit or somewhere?

Yes, I shared it in a facebook fishing group. Most of them are rude and selfish people. I almost regret sharing this beautiful footage.

Thanks for clarification. Some people might think that I was harassing spawning fish, but I wasn't and those pinkies were still swimming. It just gets so frustrating these days, people assume anything and judge without having facts lined up.

Video is shaky dude. Next time just don't zoom in, but still amazing! Most of us don't see these footages up close. Thanks for sharing!

Sorry for the shaky video. I zoomed the camera to show the fish better in the video which made it like it was a big creek, but in fact the width of the water was less than 5-6 feet (the main part of the river was behind me which was flooding) and I could've jumped over it if the rocks weren't slippery.

* I wasn't walking on the Salmon redds. This stream was a small side part of the lower river and those humpies were still swimming upstream and had a lot more way to go to reach to their spawning habitats. Many more of them were swimming in the mainstream which was behind me. Earlier I was fishing at the other side of the water targeting Coho Salmon (which I didn't find any) and as it began raining, suddenly the river started flooding, so I had to get out of the water asap, and this part of the water that you see in the video was the only way to get in or out of the water in a long stretch of the river. So, don't worry, I didn't walk on the redds and didn't ruin or hurt the spawning fish.

My freezer is still full from the early season humpies 😂 But I saw pretty bright hens in those schools almost tempted to fish them for the eggs but I let'em go and make more babies for 2023 😂🥚🥚🥚🐟🐟🐟

@@MyExRebirth were the bright ones coho? Didn't think there would be any bright pinks this late in the run🤷♂️
@MyExRebirth3 жыл бұрын
@@808redneckify No, bright and fat pinks, like they were even fatter than the ones I caught early in the season, but bucks were matured and beat up

Lmao all those pinks are about to die! All zombies
@MyExRebirth3 жыл бұрын
Of course. After they spread their eggs out, they die but a new generation of pink salmon will live to come back in 2 years 🐟🐟🐟
