I just need to do 1 roof, my parents. I've no idea what to use to combine and disperse the chemicals onto the roof. Do you have a video explaining how you mix the chemicals and pump them out?

My system is more advanced now so it's no suitable for the diy ppl. But a system that can work is something more like this as a soft wash system. (Watch the video to see the soft wash system). I had a 50 gallon tank which I mixed the sodium hypochlorite 50/50 with water and about 1oz of surfactant for every 5 gallons. @@PinkFlamingoPowerWash How many gallons did it take to do that roof? I'm thinking about getting a 15Litre backpack sprayer and filling it with chlorine, water and surfactant. I did a test on a section of roof with just chlorine and water and it basically did nothing to the black stain.

@@Mahatheyew I didn't do a roof on this video. If you're doing a roof you have to mix your chlorine half water to half chlorine. Most average size roofs will take 15 gallons of chlorine to clean it depending on how dirty it is.

@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Thanks for the reply. I think I've got the chemical mixture sorted, do you reckon a backpack pump sprayer would be adequate for a DIY job? I think they're mainly used for pesticides spraying so the output is pretty light/weak.

I know I asked you before what size orifice to use on a down stream injecter 8gpm to get a house wash and what percentage would that be I just purchased and don’t know what one to install is lower 1.8 stronger than 2.3 ? Thanks again

Use a 2.1 injector orifice it'll be enough for a house wash, pool cages, and pre treating concrete.

Yea Ive known 2 guys that did that. I'm not sure how it works and when they decide to come down but that's a way to way to work year round

Yes when I get fresh chlorine I automatically add some surfactant in the tank with it

Black screens? The solution comes through the downstream injector at one ratio and no I don't dilute it anymore than it is.

Cliff, did you have to mess with the huge front porch columns at all? Also, what did you charge for that job? That place was in desperate need for some landscaping love and customer should’ve let you wash the roof and get all that leaf debris off of there.

Yea I washed the Columns. The bottom of them had peeling paint so I had to be careful. I don't think the owners went up there to see the roof they more or less saw the leaves from the ground level. Maybe next time they'll go for it. And get the leaves off the back as well b
