Maybe it's just because I'm a Fluttershy fan and a Ms. Medley fan, but my favorite part was when all the Fluttertrees sprang up. Great video! I liked all of the art, an't wait for the next one. Good luck Apple Bloom! Also, this reminded me of an episode of Samurai Jack I watched recently where Aku was wanting to be more popular with the kids so he summoned a bunch and told classic fairy tales, with a twist of course. The best one was little red hood who FLAMING RED EYEBROWS! So you guys have a lot to live up to clearly. Something else I've seen recently related to "Jack and the Beanstalk" was this puppet theater I want to see with my family. It was spectacular, I had no idea how cool puppets were, but the thing I liked best was the message. They changed the story a bit, for one they left out the harp just to save time, but Jack doesn't steal the goose, he becomes friends with the giant so he doesn't need to steal! The the giant helps Jack and his mom chase away the money grubber who was going to kick them out of their house because they couldn't pay the increased taxes. It teaches you to not judge a book by the cover, just because he's a giant doesn't mean he's bad, and just because the land lord was human doesn't mean he was good. And stealing is really bad so it was just a lot of fun to watch and I liked the story more.

I really enjoyed this. It does pose the question why an alicorn would be broke and not seen as a princess in that time period the story is set in, but i was able to ingore that little detail. This story was cute and hilarious and the fourth wall breaking was very amusing, especially whenever it was Pinkie (not that i thought she wouldn't) and just made it all the better.
