@kellieg1970 I made it fit 3x5 index cards. I cut my paper at 12" wide and 7.5" tall. The score marks across the wider edge are 3.25 and 8.75. It still gave a 1" seam. I also punched half circle finger pulls at the 6" mark, but alternated them on my second try.

Some pocket tabs, ribbon closure, photo boards, fold in pockets for more photos or tickets, etc. gorgeous paper. Great idea! I’m going to do this for all the stacks of Christmas pictures I have in storage bins.

Thanks for the tutorial I just made this, with a few modifications! 1) I made it for index cards, cut at 12"x 7.5" . The result is 3.75x . 5.5" Folded. 2) I punched thumb pulls with a 1" punch, half circle. 3) I installed my accordion file in a fabric based journal I have already made, and it worked out perfectly!

I’d love to figure out how to do this with 12x12! I’m not good at figuring out measurements 😵‍💫 (I have a ton of 12x12 cardstock & papers!) This was so cool and I’m cutting up a bunch of 12x12 so I can make it right now…along with you! I thought your instructions and visuals were great! Easy for me to follow along with 😊Thank you! I'm so glad that KZbin recommended that I watch this video. I truly enjoyed making this. I made some faux suede papers to be the cover of this journal/accordion folder, and it looks so pretty. I have decided that I will fill the folders with a bunch of die cuts and stickers and donating it to my local thrift store for someone to enjoy embellishing it and making it even prettier! I have already got 2 more sets cut out ready to be put together. But I will be giving those to a vintage look before assembling. Thank you for showing us how to make this.
