During the first season nobody lost their cars. They were told to pretend their car was up for grabs. It wasn't until later seasons where they actually signed over their pink slips. The losing of the car was all an act in the beginning.

If your going by street racing rules, the arm drop the guy in the monte carlo won the camaro in race 3 If he wasn't ready he should have sat there but he jumped. So the guy in the monte carlo gave the kid his camro back first.
