Wtf. Automatic is the only way to go. Shifting with a clutch is in the stone ages. Big gear high stall and electronic shifting. The biggest problem was it is a 90 horsepower family car with no modifications

This was literally one of the first shows ever produced. At this time the show wasn’t even on TV yet. This was shot in Iowa and these two racers were from Rich’s hometown area. To get anyone at the time to race for titles was almost impossible. But you have to start somewhere and without these shows and racers there would be know season 2!
