Hi Michelle How are you. I hadn't thought about making this method wider. So KOOL. I'll use cardstock. I recently made similar from different channel however made expandable file folders from cardstock. I need several of these from your method. I'm updating my craft room. I'll give lid more room at top for tabs. You're very gifted. I like EASY, too. But I don't mind 8ths, 16ths measurements. Which I learned papercrafting from YT. My 74th year of summer brain needs to learn as much as possible.. LOL Thanks so much.❤

As always great tutorial! I love this accordion file to store the scraps, stickers and ephemera left over from a collection. I usually use the cellophane packaging from the collections, but this is so much better. Thanks for sharing, this is genius!

I've just made this as a birthday gift to hold some bits such as ephemera & stamp sets. I tried a magnet closure, but it isn't working very well. I found it doesn't stand very well, but once its got things in it will be fine. I used A4 cardstock & cut it to 11 inches by 8 1/4 inches. It was 300gsm so sturdy. I will share once the birthday girl has received it. I had such fun making it. 😊

@@Pinkstrawberryz I found the magnet works brilliantly when it's laid down so it must be because the front isn't rigid. I forgot to take photos before I took it. My head has been all over the place tbh, since my dad passed away on Christmas Eve. One foot in front of the other. I do plan to make another for myself & will use the elastic closure or ribbon. Look forward to the new project 😊🤗

I can see me using this design for taking some pre-printed images, sentiments and embellishments when I'm on the go (eg vacations). I will probably narrow the 8½ down to 8¼ so I can get it out of an A4 sheet rather than use 12 x 12 cardstock. Thanks for the tutorial.
