What are your thoughts on the alimony law in India?

Alimony whatever it is given to the wife of the husband n not some random women , the women who had a hell lot of expectation for happy forever after, which Didn't happen. wen the man cannot accept a single comment against their parents so goes with the married women and most of the case the man doesn't want to take the responsibility of the women et all . wen the reason for dowry they give is forever taking care of ur daughter n her responsibilityso goes for alimony after divorce

Yes there should b provision that in family court hearing th hearing should b done online most of the time also there.

Marriage has become business in India so I think Prenups should be made legal and contracts should be valid.

Many of the past generations have had informal divorces and currently live separately. They maintain dignity by not formalizing it and protecting themselves from stigma. Their children in turn have a broken idea of marriage but also have their respective egos with their greater academic and professional achievements that compound on an unsustainable marital life. Although it is too late for the older generation to exert any positive impressions onto their adult children, i would say it is not a fault of younger generation today but rather who raised them and the generations before. Nothing has changed except for the ability to seek freedom to separate from a toxic mess. Prior marriages were grounded on a woman giving everything for her family, that is no longer the case.

Dowry mangna buri baat hai toh divorce ke time bina reason ke ladkiwale money mangte hai toh kya ye galat nhi hai ye sahi hai har bar ladka hie galat ho aisa nhi ho sakta me ye proove kar sakta hoon ki ladki bhi galat hoti hai

@@AJD_56 kisne kaha ke sirf ladke buri cheezein kar sakte hain par? Usme bhi bhed bhaav karna hai kya? :P Hazaaron saal ke liye bas upawastra ki tarah rakkha ladkiyon ko. Ab ladkon jaise behave karrahi hai ladkiyan toh dikkat ho rahi hai ladkonko because it was validated by the law. Aise laws bane kyu jo ladkiyan exploit kar sakte hain first of all? Kyuki ladke disproportionately bohot zyada misbehave karte the 😛 warna legislature mein bhi sab aadmi the almost aise laws banaate kyu. Toh ye sawal ka koi seedha saadha answer nahi hai. Individual case by case basis pe hi answer hoga kyuki koi law perfect nahi hota aur imperfection dhundke maximum profit dilaana hi lawyer ka kaam hai

Law should be strict , care taker of law shouldn't be corrupt and make sure innocent is not punished. Removing alimony or legalising pre nup agreement wont help the real victims . People fail to understand why these laws are made and keep on commenting.
