Difference is Shaco IS balanced in that - his base stats are terrible - he dies in 1 hit - his late-game scaling is non-existent - doesn't have in-built sustain - is easily countered by lens - terrible waveclear - if you don't walk into boxes, he can't kill you Actually, Shaco fucking sucks now that i think about it LMAO

I've faced a few good Gragas tops on Sion, I just rush a negatron and continue my normal build, just do what I want, and eventually walk over the Gragas. maybe getting a heartsteel stack while I tank one of their combos etc. But if you don't build any damage reduction you're gonna get combo 1 shot lol. Or if you get caught too far out he will widdle you down while you make futile efforts to get away. Sick as fuck Minecraft skin tho 10:23

I'll give benefit of the doubt a bit because I've had jungle or mid ping OMW 3 or 4 times, then when they're in the river or close enough I engage, and they just turn around and leave. Would have been the easiest 2v1 in the world, but not a 1v1 in the situation they were pinging OMW in. You've also got the ego filled idiots that expect to have their team perma camp them.

Fruity, don't get me wrong, I love your content, but I have to agree being on the receiving end of a Gragas lane as a melee champ like Volibear (or really any melee top) is the most painful experience in human history. It feels so out of my control, and I genuinely think if the Gragas knows how to play the champion well, you can't beat him regardless of what you do if you have no way to counter his E (which most don't, spellshields are very rare, and Gragas E hitbox is one of the largest on-contact skills I know of). This mainly stems from the fact that despite being a combo mage, he's played in the top lane and has transitioned to be an AP bruiser, which is already frustrating due to mage toplane being annoying, but the other main issue IMO is knockups/knockbacks as a whole being an unfair mechanic in the game to me. Putting that all together, you have lots of damage, low cooldown abilities + CC, and it sounds like RIven if she also had lane sustain, which all culminates to be a frustrating thing to face: an enemy that can outmaneuver you, out sustain you, out CC you, out waveclear you, and out damage you doesn't have a whole lot of options that can be picked against. Again, I completely respect you and your skill because I've seen how useless a bad Gragas is. I KNOW just how insane you are. But I also have never been a fan of champions where it's always "their turn" if you will. It never feels like you have a chance to "go in" vs Gragas because he's either got a slow ready, or a frame 1 knockback that will cancel any auto attack you may have been readying, completely shutting down your one time to damage him. With all that said, I do say this as someone who has never played Gragas. Honestly, I could see myself playing him, as he does look fun, but I probably never will. On a side note, I'd be interested in hearing what you think counters Gragas top, and what's frustrating for you to fight. What lane opponent feels unbeatable when even in gold, or what someone can do when countered by Gragas? Thanks for the content, and keep it up!
