That was just an awful call by the guy with the A4s. He was so obviously either dominated or crushed. Can't believe there are people still looking to gamble at that stage of the tournament. It's always the worst to get knocked out by people making losing plays for themselves.

Good run dude! The one and only time I ever had a ticket to get into a WSOP event I had to go into a nursing home that day because I had worn a pressure sore on my rump from sitting and playing on-line. Quit playing after that but I still enjoy it vicariously through guys like you!!

Hey Brad, know the heartbreak that’s felt. I came in 2nd place, 2011 WSOP event 18. But you’ll look back and see the accomplishment you made. I got custody of my son in 2016 and haven’t played much poker since then... priorities.. I watch your vlog and getting ready to get back in the game now that my boy is older (9). You’ve helped keep the pilot light lit and I’ll soon see you at a meet up or tourney somewhere. Keep it up... you did great! Congrats!

Master Robbi i dont think its the buyin that influenced him. he is likely staked. he got to the bubble last time and crashed out. he wanted to make the money this time, and not fall at the final hurdle again. cashing in the WSOP is like completing a marathon. it is an accolade in itself. he has done it now, and next time will no doubt play for the win.

You have great poker instincts on top of the great game you are playing already. This last hand is nothing to beat yourself up over when you consider how many times you exposed your bankroll to a bust out. Add to that you multiplied your bankroll by amount above a black jack 1 x 1.5 payoff. That translates into a bigger bankroll to continue your game... I call it a win no matter what. Congratulations on that win and the experience you gained from it.

When I was a regular in the card rooms way back in the 90's the general rule was its good to force an All In with AK, but bad to call an ALL IN with an AK as you're most likely a coin flip at best. Has doctrine changed or is it just two schools of thought?
