Malaysia malls never embed the convenience or on-the-way factor when building them. They're always standalone mall. If it is a standalone mall, then they'll need a strong factor to get people to make a trip to visit them, doesn't matter it is a community/neighborhood mall, hence why people only go for the mega malls rather than the kecik miao malls. Just look at Singapore malls, most of them are connected to MRT and while you are connecting from one station to the other station, you walk through a mall, or from station back to their HDB. Those malls doesn't need pull factor because you're gonna walk through them anyway. Imagine if this pinnacle mall is connected to a MRT station, and there is actually a covered / underground walk-way that connect the MRT station to your house at Sri Petaling, it wouldnt be like how it is today.

My Grandparents live around there, so I see that area from a flat parking lot to become that mall is meh, no one really go to the mall, the people that go to that area is for all the restaurants around that area. Always hate going to that area because there always no Parking, or sometimes people park in a way where car can’t pass easily, that mall would help if it’s not a mall but a parking lot for event space.

It's just rediculous of the number of malls in Malaysia. It's a formula for a disaster and yet you guys keep on building malls and the malls keep on dying.

Everyone hoping to get the same (limited) foot traffic. The mega malls seem to be winning at this rate.

Population is mainly Chinese area and the mall serve only 1 ethnic usually wont do well after 1 year. Plus Pavilion is just a stones throw away too now.

It's a pinnacle of meh, given the vacancy rate of this mall. Don't get me wrong, it does have the bare minimum and some decent food options, which is far better than some other malls (visiting Cheras Sentral, Viva Home or Space U8 may result in irreparable emotional damage). But in regards to comparing this to the megamalls, most especially Mid Valley as it's only 15 minutes away from Pinnacle, it's no match. As someone nearly in his mid-20s, I'd rather frequent malls that consistently excites me. (Though ever since there was a certain Klang Valley mall tier list, I tried visiting other malls, so that tierlist is an indirect promotion. 😅) That being said, I do agree on this mall needing to offer more (i.e: Mr. DIY opening another branch). P.S: Endah Parade is just a glorified parking lot for concert goers to walk to and from the stadium. Also I've heard that Endah Parade is a white elephant.

Nice, I am also trying to visit other malls to look for hidden gems/eateries.

@@erikcheeyk I would say United Point Segambut is quite the "hidden" gem in my opinion

Malaysia is champion on building malls! China produce EV car & Chips. Spore build malls next to MRT & Bus exchange center. 😂

They no longer give free parking for first 2 hours.

Was there less double parking outside when free parking offered?
@sunnyfoo72143 ай бұрын
@@erikcheeyk that's not the point. if u r concerned on double parking, go report to traffic police or DBKL. or take matters into your own hands lol

It has no reason to be another mega mall, this mall has good foot traffic for its size. Is an ideal f&B destination. Parking is the responsibility of DBKL...not the mall, they're only responsible to cater to their visitors.

Agreed, a community mall cannot be another mega mall.
