I just want to say that you are dusch a great player. Never heard anyone play the acoustic guitar as well as you. Your touch, timing and overall feeling. It is just wonderful. Thank you.

Over 50 years of listening to guitar players, I can say I doubt I've ever heard anyone with a finer technique. Total absence of string screech on a steel strung acoustic guitar, almost impossible to eliminate, but you do it. Note separation and articulation is just sublime, magnificent playing
@tallstrom6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I agree that technique is part of eliminating that sound, but the advent of coated strings like "Elixir strings" has also helped a lot. Cheers

agreed . I have played finger style since before he was born and could not agree more

@DonMitchell509 жыл бұрын
Love it! Martin, if you don't mind me asking, how were you listening to the backing track as you played? I don't see that you're wearing phones or buds. If you had it playing through monitors, did it bleed into your guitar track? This is a problem I have, for which I've found no acceptable solution when I'm trying to record a video while playing with a backing track.
@tallstrom9 жыл бұрын
Don Mitchell Thanks! No problem :) The album track was recorded a while back, and I never filmed the actual recording... So, this is like a music video, I´m playing along with the finished track. It does require you to know exactly what you played, but since all my stuff is written, that´s ok :)
@DonMitchell509 жыл бұрын
Oh, so this is just a video to accompany your actual CD recording? Jeeze! How did you get it perfectly in sync like that?

+Marijn van der Zaag Thank you for the kind words! The audio should be pretty loud, but not clipping, in the videos. Many tracks are professionally mastered :)
