Pinoy Joyride - Roxas to El Nido Palawan Joyride

This is the part 2 of my Puerto Princesa to El Nido Palawan Joyride. Divided into two videos on a 5 hour ride. Sorry for the shaky camera... Its beyond my control road condition and van suspension.
The video covers the entire stretch of Puerto Princesa towards El Nido via the Puerto Princesa North Road / North Diversion Road towards Taytay El Nido National Highway. Video starts from the rest point of Roxas passing San VIcente, Taytay and ending in El Nido Palawan. I was not the driver for this video and surely wanted to bring my own car here for a driving experience. The roads were similar to Marilaque with a mixture of Pantabangan Canili Road going to Baler. The curves were fantastic and suave.

As of documentation:
Road Condition - The roads after the stop over starts to go bumpy although cemented there is something wrong with it... Suspensions gets stiff.... Yet the curves are truly great!
Drive Thrill - Leisure driving unless you are riding a car with a bad suspension
Security - There are areas where there are no houses especially along Taytay. Other portions have residential houses.

Interesting ride. Many more sections of straight road than here in Cebu. The van drivers make the trip as quick as possible.

When my family and I went to Palawan in Dec 2012, we bought a map which showed the road unsealed from Roxas onwards. Consequently it was a pleasant surprise when our driver told us it was sealed all the way to Taytay. (After Taytay, it was in the process of being sealed.) So, bumpy or not, it is a considerable improvement on what it could have been!

yes, but the road conditions from Roxas to El Nido is not that smooth unlike from Puerto Princesa to Roxas. Thank you for watching and sorry for the late response.

When I was there in 2009 taking a bus to El Nido there were no paved roads just dusty ways. I have never experienced a more beautiful place than El Nido.

I'm curious about the music you use. "City of Revelry", the first piece on the video, I rather liked, so I looked it up, and found it was actually much shorter than it was here. In your video it was about 20 minutes long, but everywhere else it's only three and a half minutes long. Obviously it repeats itself seamlessly somewhere. Which makes me wonder: since it is actually the soundtrack of a videogame, did you play the game for twenty minutes and record the soundtrack?

Bad road? It's a very well designed, engineered and maintained road, and it has no roadside trash or road blockers. I only wish my country roads in USA California were as good :) As always the Philippine countryside is beautiful. A little piece of Heaven ;)

this is a perfect guide video for those who want to drive in Palawan, thank you for the awesome video! I assume there is no such thing as a road sign...Is there any possibility of getting lost? I was wondering if you got the help of GPS or Google Map :)

There were road signs along the road. GPS can guide you properly , most of the road is straight forward. I was not the driver during this documentation but i am looking at the gps map too. Thank you for watching!

Ah eto ang maalog, halata sa dash cam, malamang local contractor to. There are other parts of the road na kailangan ng repair but over all ok naman daanan.
