Pinoy Joyride - Tuguegarao to Tabuk Joyride

This video is the first part / prelude of our drive to Bontoc from Cagayan province. From Tuguegarao to Tabuk City we will be passing the Cagayan Apayao Road , Santiago Tuguegarao Road and the Kalinga Cagayan Road. I once did a joyride and almost went straight to Tabuk City (made a wrong turn) as i was going home to Manila from Tuguegarao. Now rain or shine, we will be passing this route towards Bontoc. Passing the municipalities of Solana, Enrile, and Santa Maria in Cagayan Province and Rizal and city of Tabuk in Kalinga Province. This route is really beautiful during sunny weather. You could see the hills like wallpaper of windows xp - Bliss. Unfortunately it was raining during our documentation.
We also highlighted Buntun Bridge, one of the longest bridge in the Philippines and Cagayan River.

Thank you for this video showing my hometown Tabuk! I will be seeing my birthplace Mt. Province in your next video! Ingat po lagi sa biyahe especially up the mountain roads. From Tabuk you can go to Bontoc passing thru the Chico River and Sleeping Beauty of Kalinga. From Bontoc you have 3 choices 1. either you go to Ifugao passing thru the rice terraces of Banaue exit Nueva Vizcaya to Isabela and then back to Cagayan. 2. You can take the Halsema road going straight to Baguio City passing thru vegetable terraces of Benguet.from Baguio use the Baguio-aritao Nueva Vizcaya road passing thru the Ambuklao Dam exit Aritaio, NV and back to Cagayan Valley. 3. Take the Bontoc-Cervantes, Ilocos Sur road passing thru Bessang Pass and exit Narvacan , Ilocos Sur. From Ilocos back to Cagayan valley! Oh! What a joy ride!

I would leave Tuguegarao at 6 am and arrive in Tabuk around 10 am. The road was so bad the only cemented road was when crossing a bridge. I remember driving very very very slow on a bridge to savor 20 to 30 feet of cemented road. Haha!

Another great video! As with your recent 'Bontoc to Tabuk' trip, I made this journey earlier this month......with similar weather! It was a pity that the mist/clouds hid the beauty of the mountains, as again, this is a another terrific route. I really do appreciate having these videos here as reminders of some fantastic trips in the Philippines. Thanks. (now I must go and explore your Baler videos! :-) )

Look at that traffic! Back when you’ll only see one or two cars crossing that bridge. And the road is cemented! I used to go up to Tabuk when this was a dirt road.
