I disagree with the rule "we should speak in english in law school and law practice". In the first place, most of the client in court are Filipinos and second, understanding the law in Filipino language is more easier way than to explain it in English. We are not born as a English. And based on the study, those uses their primary language are more intellect than using their second language. That's why, we are behind on the survey of intellect people. Pinipilit natin aralin o isa buhay ang wikang banyaga na hindi naman natin kinagisnan.

Nasa constitution kasi na ang official language ng Pilipinas ay English at Filipino so May basis talaga na English ang gagamitin pero bilang abogado it's your duty to explain to your client especially kapag indigent Sa Tagalog para maiwasan din yung maling interpretasyon ng rulings

I'm a freshman student taking Philosophy as pre-law. Various would mumble "bat Anjan ka, why didn't you choose this and that" I often answer them " Useful over Usual". Currently, I'm having a hard time battling with this new normal. Truth? We are bombarded wt lots of readings to the point that I can't finish a single one without having the urge to cry. As of now, I sleep a lot as in LOT like I wanna consume every single day sleeping. I was in the moment where I doubt if I can still pursue law school and if kakayanin ko ba cause if not? I might shift to other courses. As I search for other courses here on yt "the bar boys movie" popped out of nowhere. After watching it, I'm sure as the sun will rise tomorrow that wherever the future may bring me I'LL BECOME AN ATTORNEY NOT TO DEFEND CASES BUT RATHER TO BE A VOICE TO HUMANITY. Watching this made me recall a recitation I had with one of my favorite law proper professors during my bachelors. Long story short, spent a good amount of time convincing and arguing that the crime is frustrated since the trajectory of the bullet merely grazed the neck of the victim, thus, not killing the latter. Oh how I was so wrong HAHA. Looking back at this now, considering I'm already in law school as a 2nd year, the essence of recitation will always be substance, application, and the persistence over your claims, as was demonstrated in the last recitation scene. To put, study as if someone's life depended on it. Nice video, Atty. Errol! More videos please! (Small suggestion: A series of reaction videos on law-related shows/movies and grade them according to how realistic it is to actual law practice)

We had a lawyer teacher and we had this recitation - he asked one of my classmate a question while tapping his shoes with quite piercing eyes so that my classmate was quite nervous and said, "Sir please don't look at me like that" ...ha ha...well anyway we were not law school students!

I think the size of the index cards at the beginning were for cinematic purposes! To show the audience who was called on and what grade they received. Thank you Atty. Errol for your comments about "Bar Boys" and stating some scenarios in Law School. I studied Information Technology during my College years, but glad my curriculum includes a subject called "Special Topics on Business Law" so I experienced "milder" class discussions/confrontations compared to movie & reality, yung ba pong "If a horse owed by this, borrowed by this, and died due to fortuitous even, who's fault it is" mga ganun, case to case basis. I enjoyed, it involves both memorization & logical thinking... what we think is not important but what does the law says. I also enjoyed watching "Bar Boys" multiple times na, very inspiring yung movie. Ang ganda. Judge/Professor (portrayed by Ms. Odette Khan) stated "You want to succeed, you sacrifice" 100% agree and that applies not only to Law Profession, but to all professions/careers.

Reaction: yung intensity po nung socratic method hindi pa msyadong hurting kc po online class po samin. We only got to taste it over a week lang before total lockdown, that was last year po. But online or not, we all had that fair share of insults din naman, lalo ung pinapangaralan kana ng prof, dahil sobrang entitled na nga daw masyado, sobrang irresponsible pa din minsan, because of not reading the cases. (Sorry, I haven't read the case yet, atty.) is a mortal sin. ^_^

Kasi our law is written in English at for me nagkakaroon din yun ng barrier sa pagiging successful ng students. Kasi if you go sa mga kapitbahay nating bansa own language nila ang gamit.

Good day Mr. Cabrera. Me scene diyan kasi na pwedeng bumagsak si Eric. Since si Christian ay naka- perfect 1.00 na grade sa law school, pwede bang ilimos yung grade ng failing grade ng classmate niya? Pag na sacrifice ng Christian na bumaba ng 1.25, dalawa lang ang babagsak sa klase. Ma- se-save niya ang ilang failing classmates niya. Possible ba yun sa law schools?

ATTY. pwedi pobang mag law kung gayong senior high school is GAS OR GENERAL ACADEMIC ATRAND ang kinuha mo? nag GAS kasi ako dahil naguguluhan pako noon kong anong kukunin kong course sa collage. ngayun napag tanto or buo na deciayon kong mag law.

Proud bedista here, haha not a lawyer but I got interested by this "Bar Boys" movie since their setting reminds me of our school. They took this whole movie at San Beda haha at na alala ko lang mga student memories ko sa bawat scenario nila sa classroom. Anyways, this is a great reaction vid Atty.
