I saw a video on youtube where Lotus Juice talked about rewritting lyrics for the FES version of Mass Destruction, because the original versions lyrics didnt make sense. And he said that for every version of Mass destruction he does, he tries to make new lyrics. Theres some awesome vids here on youtube with a number of different renditions of Mass destruction.

Also, Lotus Juice has said the verse for Mass Destruction heard in the original P3 was him trying to make sense of lyrics that were already pre-written, which he only had 15 minutes to do. According to him, they made no sense whatsoever before his quick revision.

The new "animal squeezing" sound, as you described, (😂) has never been an issue for me when I listen to the new version. I personally prefer the new version, maybe that's because I've listen to the og so much, but I love it. Different isn't bad.

That "choking" sound in new Mass Destruction is a type of synth bass, I belive. That aside, I'm happy that you didn't hate or give negative feedback on Mrs. Takahashi's perfirmance in the new version of Mass Destruction, which unfortunately happens in this community... Color Your Night is my favorite of the new tracks! But with Mass Destruction there are aspects of the original I like better but, overall, I personally like the new one more. It comes down to my own preference but I never liked how the original just repeated the same verse. With Reload I like how they kept the same first verse from the original, just performed slightly differently, but then added a second verse.
