Great showcase video... 'm so glad you did this video. I was in Blazin's live stream when this set came out and I said 30sec after looking at it that this set is useless beyond a 4 piece coupled with a 4 piece SS like you showed for the same reason that the 9 piece was not protected, and also like you said, cut it to 2 intercepts but protect it. For that reason, I put this set as slightly above average, because of the 2/4 piece set and not worth farming hard for it. Get yourself 2 good sets top pieces, and as many accessories preferably in rings and amulets for the acc/spd boost but because they are faction locked it's less likely to be as useful account wide. The 4 piece set is all you should use, and all you should farm for. I said that it would not change the meta and my Wukon was waiting to accept all these free gifts, so please use it extensively everyone because I just love free goodies The only thing I wasn't sure about is if Armanz uses his a3 on another champ, would it strip the intercept too, as it is a buff after all? I would think yes, but Paylarium code stuff in bizarre ways, so well... Ferral is significantly better imo to PP. It may have a 50/50 RNG work/don't work, but as long as my acc is higher than your res, then I have 100% chance to take/strip intercept from you.

This is what I'm taking about ever since this set release, it can be stolen, or cleanse. Can easily be countered especially by mythicals who likes buff stripping. Intercept being protected would be OP.

My Kimi, Ramantu, and Kymar need this set. If I go first, I have 3 buff strip attempts, block passives, and a sleep before my Baron goes. If I don't go first I probably lose anyway.

It has counters like buff steel/strip, which is fine. Making it protected will overpower this gearset easily

That's a great point. They certainly need to protect Intercept at some level.

True, supersonic as well I believe. But this is the only farmable area. Other areas take a bit more time and RNG.

My initial thinking was debuffer DPS do savage+pinpoint, pure debuffer go feral. But still it is very difficult to give up stone skin to me. I think it pretty much depends on your arbiter speed

I pulled Queen Eva with my primals. After reading her kit, she will definitely be good in this set. Take Wukong right out of the match for good. He was my biggest issue with the set. Well… Problem solved! However, only 3 piece jewelry would be used unless I find another way to ignore some def with it 😎

i just added a 2 piece pinpoint ring and amulet to my arbiter and she gained 13 speed from that

I add 11 speed to siphi with 2 random ring amulet. After accessory, almost impossible to get a decent artifact

Oh yeah, ring and neck were easy to get if looking for spd and or accuracy it’s awesome! I also dont have many good artifacts in pinpoint :/

Thank God intercept isn't protected. I'm glad it's able to be stolen. Would be too OP otherwise. The way to protect your intercept buff is to be faster. Until now, being faster doesn't matter because your debuffer can just be sheeped. Now you can be faster and still debuff. That's all the set accomplishes. It's enough, and it's not too much.

In a sheep heavy meta, I don’t think being protected would be too OP, assuming it’s around 2 stacks and not 4stacks protected.

Its still a broken set if you have only 1 intercept that means bomb meta is back bcs u wont get polymorpht if ur faster anough to get to the bomb champion and just melt the team but 9 stack is defenatly useless bcs u dont need more then 1-2 intercepts

1 intercept stack isn’t 100% poly block if the team has multiple polymorph champs. Would be RNG but I agree, it’s far better than not having intercept. I like it for fast bombers.

@@TyRaids Plarium mentioned it somewhere that Poly can only hit once per champ skill. (E.g all 4 enemy has polymorph, you champ who put/remove debuff can only be hit once per his skill. It won't trigger all 4 poly even if they all have the same blessing.)

I can't think of a build where I'd take Pinpoint over Stoneskin. Maybe PvE builds, but then you run into Regen/Immortal being preferred in the same way

I do argee that it could be a problem but everything in this game needs a counter to it so pinpoints counter is stealing. Wish they would have put a better way to counter stoneskin besides a 50/50 rng lol 😂

Protected buffs can't be stripped... Was you even watching? It's not chess, it's gear v gear, blessing v blessing in a sheep meta. What is simple is if my Wukon is faster than your team then it's game over, the same as it's ever been. Funny thing is, Wukon is the best champ to have this on. Oh, the irony lol.

@@atlricanprince4202 I agree with, better gear doesn't mean you will win ofc if you don't know what you are doing, but I take that as a given with anything mostly, in any game. If dealing with anyone who does know what they are doing, then they can win even with some off meta champs, although at the very highest level it's all about the champs AND the gear. Again the correlation between chess being strategic and playing Raid I will concede has it's place too, and more so if not for all the RNG thrown in limits any strategy down to, will it proc, or won't it proc sheep. Will it strip the stoneskin or not, to allow it to be a true strategy game. I just find that even when I have the strategy right, I can still lose simply because I lose the speed race too and that's all gear related. Again at high levels this is very annoying because I know on paper my team, and strategy is superior but lose a fight mostly down to the gear not matching up, or massive RNG going against me, and that happens far more than it should imo. I would love to see an arena within the game that is equalised and blessings turned off, and maxed limit to stats. This is when I would completely agree that the mode is like chess. That would be when those who have the knowledge and ability will win most of the time. I wonder if the top 500 would still be the same then. I'm sure maybe the top 50 would be there, or there abouts, but I also bet that many players not even in the top 500 would jump up the table into the top 100. I know a few people who's knowledge of champs is at least as good as mine, with more meta arena champs than myself, who can't beat me in an arena match (mostly) simply because my gear is better than theirs (played longer). That doesn't mean that I'll beat them every time, but it does limit the losses considerably due to superior gear alone. I'm one of those people who only seem to get top PvE champs and have very limited top end arena champs and gear rolls that would make you want to give up the game every time you roll gear lol. So I'm sorry if I came across abrupt, but I had been trying to keep my replies short and to the point because I write reams. I guess that didn't work out either
