Thank You Sir. I bought one of these new in the late 70's. Still have it , hasn't been used in 20+ years. Your video has inspired me to have it serviced and put back into use. Chose this unit over others available at the time because of the performance specs, overall appearance, and of course the three, count em three V.U. meters!!! Many hours spent listening and recording. Thanks again.

I got one of these about a year ago myself, and it is a sight to be seen. Just gorgeous. Had the opportunity to buy one that had only had one owner, andit is immaculate. And it sounds fantastic. Visually goes perfectly with my Pioneer SX-750 receiver.

My brother in law has one he bought new in the 70s, in his crawlspace still in original box...mint shape...I used to tape all my music on it in the early 80s...great machine. I have an SX 1250, and am getting this next...I like it better than the ct-f1000

Hello. Nice looking deck, appears to be running up to specifications! Congrats. Question: I also own this same unit. The Cr02 light does not remain on, and I have none of that type of cassette to put in and test the light. Should that green light be on at all times (unless a non-Cr02 tape is being played)? Thank you

Jeff, I believe this deck to be 1977-1978, and the Marantz to be like 1973-1975. Thank you for the feedback, and glad you liked your shout out! Kiss has a lot of killer jams!
