Music feels like a funeral ! Inside the W616DR is a little different, but similar. There is a hard soldered ribbon cable connecting the mech to the unit's PCB, making it difficult to work on. Thank you for this breakdown !!

I saw the same mechanism at KENWOOD, SONY and DENON. I is a good mechanism

I have the same one. I am very satisfied with playback. But for ff or rewind if the cassette is big like 90" it starts to slow and bearly wind till the end of the tape. One of the belts is responsible for that. Question is which one. Could you please help me on this ? By the way great video. I am a kind of pioneer collector too.

I have one of these the left play button on the cassettes works fine. But when the right play button is pressed it plays for a few seconds then starts to fast forward. Is this a fault on the player?

You can try using some contact spray on the buttons, it might fix it.

If you have any polish friends you can ask them for help. I have bought mine at Poland on allegro (site like ebay) for around 10 Pounds.

What sizes are the replacement belts

Incase anyone needs the sizes it uses 2 8 inch flat belts 3mm wide and 2 6 inch square belts 1.2mm wide

@@Fubar06 Do you know which cable respons for recording tape A to tape B ,and BLE function.In my case those functions not work

@@PlamenCONSUL What do you mean "Not work"? Nothing happens when you push BLE or it tries to, but cannot complete the calibration? If nothing happens check the switches for the buttons and the ribbon cable connected to the control panel.
