This tiny pepperoni does some good work for under the budget. I was just messing with mine right now and all I can say it's worth the 150 for any beginner or anyone under budget. It does the job and I feel like it was a steal and could have been worth at least 200. I would recommend this one to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money and/or is starting. It's great for mixing as well so if you wanna throw some party and start mixing it does that flawlessly. I just wish the controller had dedicated loop buttons. To map the loops to the pads you have to manually do it on the phone but other than that this thing is extremely good

Hi Mark! Thanks for this video. I have an issue. I have rekordbox app for Iphone and also, I have a patio with 4 speakers directly connected to my Onkyo receiver which is in my bedroom. Regarding headphone a split audio, how can I set the output cable to receive music to the receiver so that it would play on all 4 speakers instead of one studio speaker? I want to hear the next song on my headphone before mixing whats playing on the 4 speakers in my patio, hope that makes sense. HELP!!!

the register page is bugged out. when you click on create an account on the desktop program start up, it takes you to an almost blank page with no guidance on where to sign up. then when you just click register on the web page that you are directed to, it just stays on that same page.

Hey I've recorded a mix but found I needed to turn up loud for it to sound OK playing back. How do I record at normal listening volume of headphones but so it's loud enough for recording... I'm just using audio recorder that's built into my laptop headphones

I have a question. I have set everything well I believe. A cable to my Bluetooth speaker and its working. Problem is that both the Decks play at the same time. When I move the crossfader to the right even the left still plays. How do I fix that to have the left playing when it's on the left and the right when it's on the right. There is so many phone tutorials and I can't find one about Rekordbox in itself. I can't use the cue button to listen to the next track without someone recommending a soundcard which I do not have. Any tips?

Have you activated the mono split option allowing you to split the signal between output and headphones? This can be found in the top right of Rekordbox DJ when the DDJ-200 controller is connected.

does the DDJ200 naturally come with a functional jog wheel? when ive tried to nudge the track a little ahead to beat match, the song stops like im nudging the top of the jog wheel instead of the side?

You’ve probably moved on and know how to do it now but I’ll still explain (even after 2 years) you have to move the side of the jog wheel not the top part since it’s touch sensitive.

I have a problem. I own a Pioneer DDJ-200, everything works, but when I try to hear one tape on the headphones while the other goes on the speakers, the sound on the headphones is just weak, I've tried multiple headphones and it's the same with everyone, do you know how to turn up the sound on the headphones or something like that. I have same headphones like you which im using rn and have that problem.

The headphones level can be increased by turning the headphone adjust dial underneath deck one in performance mode.

In Windows : Is there a way to set the cue output to one audio device and master output to another? I have a minijack audio output for headphones and have a amp with bluetooth capability I'd like to output my master output to. Is that possible? I really don't like how the mono-output sounds compared to stereo. There has to be a way to do this isnt there?

You shouldn't use wireless headphones there will be latency/lag. You can only pair your devices to one bluetooth device at a time as well so it probably won't work at all

I like these decks but man getting music for it is awkward you can’t use Spotify and you either have to pay soundcloud and if you use iTunes it still doesn’t work you need to buy the music to use it so it’s easier to use a laptop and download music

VietPhoBo the new iphones does not have a headphones jack, so you need to buy that extra cable. its not that expansive i guess. with the older iphones you dont need that cable. i dont know if any of this works with samsung or huawaii because litterly every tutorial is done with a iphone.

If you use the new Rekordbox v6.0, the DDJ 200 unlocks the performance mode and you don’t need a license.

Don't bother with this product if you have a Huawei Mate20x. The jog wheel lag is unbearable. No other feature lags... Another annoying thing, you can't connect your laptop via Bluetooth. Why? Who knows...
