hey friend, I like your logo, how did you do it, I want one that says vinyl and has the movement in white, not red, please

Just a few days ago I had a DJM S9 on my bench; the crossfader was stuck reverse! I did Everything from physically rotating the magnet board to service mode set up. Nothing worked! Thankfully these units have a Reverse switch for cross faders, you switch it On and the crossfader is correct! My head is still hurting! .Lol. It's great to see how technology is changing in these decks, thanks for the inside view! :-)

I was looking at a DDJ-SX2 and couldn't find the line-phono switch until the very end when I put it back together and I looked at the front haha. Swapping faders on the DDJ-SX and SX2 was a total pain

Have you checked the polarity of the magnet is correct? I know you said you rotated the magnet but it could be the wrong direction? Toward the sensor? 😅

@@joshuainder2241 Yes, I have tried that.

what can be done to get better pitch on a mk5g? I done the quartz lock remove mod, and is a lot better just wonder if you know anything else I could do?

sorry I don't.

Hi I tried to look at your other comment on the phono cables, but for some reason YT has hidden it and I can see it. Vinyl mastering changes the high frequencies and sets bass to mono to stop the needle jump so what ever mixer you use it has to correct the high end again.

I'm looking into a potential mod for mk5g turntables, because you only have 3 wires going to the pitch and I'm guessing one or two of those wires control the speed of the motor, so my thought is to add a resister to the correct wires and slow the motor down slightly so you end up with +7/-7 pitch but still the same length fader should give you a tighter pitch, I ain't got the balls to try it though lol

What’s the best way to clean the track the faders moves on so it moves with less force? And slides freely

I have a 900nx2 on my bench right now with a broken cross fader. glad I found this video of yours yet again :) but sadly the one I'm working on the black main gear inside broke in half. I'm assuming from an impact. Very surprised to see all the plastic parts that make up this fader for the expensive price of these mixers. Was hoping for something more robust

Thank you very much for this information. I have one nxs2 on the desk for repair and it was doing the same as in your case.
