normally it´s supposed to put the turntable aside the receiver as in the photos and on top of the receiver i had a akai reel deck the X-165D from 1970 wich records better than most of the cassette decks ,i have several and not one is better including all high-end nakamichi cassette decks

@@bobrsgarage3124they are rare a few years ago still appeared on ebay ,it´s a better built system but only 30 watts r.m.s. at 8 ohms, the receiver,turntable and speakers that make the ES-2000 system are much good looking than the components produced in 74 allthough this system was sold since 72 with only a change in the arm of the turntable it used the PN/PC-11 cart. and stylus after the PN/PC-30 and it sounded really good ,everything is better finished and a bit bigger and it as the matrix 4 with a extra pair of speakers as it said in the brochure that only in 2018 i found one on ebay coming from ireland ,the original pappers were in japanese characteres with no photos ,this because i bought it in Japan while living in africa and paid 300 and something dollars at the time, the loudness and tone controls are better sounding that other pioneer receivers till 1980 after ,even worse, more like frequencies from the end of the spectrum ,more clean sounding and the loudness is far more powerfull than others that i also have, i tried some CS-997 from 1990 that is said to have each 190 watts (DIN) and it make those speakers vibrate that with a A-616mkII reference integrated amplifier they don´t move at all with 70 watts per channel at 8 ohms ,a 91 model

@@bobrsgarage3124 тот, который у меня есть, все еще с другими компонентами, поставляемыми с системой ES-2000, до сих пор использую его в своей ТВ-комнате с дополнительной парой Celestion ditton с матрицей 4, он обеспечивает идеальное звучание, как в брошюре, здоровье

the not existing anti-skating was never a problem but when made albums only had a bit more than 30 minuts total ,some more recent albums with lot´s of music in one side ,the last tracks are not that well sounding
