Got this for my 2010 ford focus. Of course I had to use the bypass to play video. Odd thing was I lost that little bag of screws. Fortunately the factory screws from the original radio worked to secure it.

Just picked up my Pioneer AVH X491 BHS and love it! Is there anyway to have your custom background scroll through different pictures every five seconds on your main screen? I know you can do this with your flash drive hooked up but can it do it on the main screen when your listening to music and your different radio stations?

The screen protector works great. It cut down on the reflection and I feel more secure from the children's fingers. You guys are the best.

Only pet peeve I have about my pioneer radio is touch screen responsiveness. I have the avh-x2800bs sound wise it's great. Touch screen not so much.

OVERCLOCK EVERYTHING try using a factory GM or Toyota touchscreen for a day, you will love yours.

I have this AVH-X491BHS and I realized it dosen't display the CD text. I called Pioneer and they said it doesn't support CD Text. Is there a way I can correct this. It's a great radio but I'm a bit disappointed I only get the track numbers when playing a cd.

having lots of issues while using bluetooth calling or audio. it is not a pairing issue as i have tried multiple phones sony, samsung etc. if the phone is very close to the unit it plays fine. if you move it even a foot or so away from the unit, the sound skips badly.

Hi. I recently bought a new car and have decided to change the sound system. I have decided to keep the factory radio but change the speakers and add an amplifier. I have a Kenwood KAC-6406 which has High level inputs. My question is should I buy a separate Rockford Fostgate 4 channel LOC or use the internal High Level Inputs. Will this affect the sound quality? If I choose the amplifiers LOC how do I get the signal from the the Factory radio to the Amp? Do factory radios have a remote wire if I choose the external LOC? Are there other Pioneer or Excelon head units that have "network mode" or active crossovers for a front stage? Love this head unit for this feature this makes it easier for me to run an active set up on my front stage without a need for processor. I'm looking for something that has CarPlay and or the capacitive screen. If not what would you recommend? Love the vids btw super informative.

Is it possible to have an iPod connected via USB and a Android phone connected via BT at the same time and be able to choose between them as a source. Also does this radio have the same issue as the older models where using a USB drive containing several files (1000+) takes a long time to load the library on the screen. Thanks you guy rock!

Hello! I received this deck but I can't get Spotify to display the album art. I see you got it to work. I tried bluetooth and usb on Android. I read somewhere to try and update the firmware but this model isn't even listed on Pioneers site. Any tips?

i just installed this in a friends truck. problem is when you hit the eject button to fold open the face, it starts to go and then it stops. acts like it's getting stopped by something. i looked all over for maybe a screw that has to be removed or tape but found nothing that looks like that. what can i do? help please...

+6NICE KOX9 did you use the factory screws that came with the radio? Make sure the radio is centered in the kit. What kit are you using?

yes i did use the short screws that came with radio. i touch the open icon and the bottom moves slightly then stops.

I had the same problem, it was the kit...holding at the bottom, sanded it down now it's champ, plus took a dremmel to the back on my Yukon xl 04, cut out a bit of the cage as it wasn't with in right

Joshua Duarte it has a video out and a AV input. You can play the internal DVD on the rear screen and the and the overhead DVD on the front screen. It does not have dual zone so everyone has to do the same thing
