After buying that kind of expensive av receiver, do we still need a stereo amplifier to listening a good sound quality for music? Does it enough for good stereo ?

Pioneer's sound Quality is absolutely excellent when its comes to AVR's, Pioneer to be honest have some of the best over-all sound-quality ,but with that said you just can't beat a good set of separate's of preamp/power-amp for music or movies .

Not sure about streaming 4k content from apps as everything in the signal chain needs to be hdcp2.2. Let me know as I have this receiver and thinking of getting a 4k projector. I would of thought it woukd upscale the HD content.

Well, later than never. My first observation having both PS5 and this receiver. 4K goes through but without HDR. So part of the image quality gets lost. I’m personally looking into adding HDMI splitter to send the video signal directly to the TV

@@MaksimSadontsev thanks for the extremely late reply, its ok. I’m no longer looking at this receiver, its too old. splitter is a good idea.
