We can only use DAB+. Each time the radio starts it starts downloading/updating the DAB+ service list. This takes around 2 minutes in which you can not listen to music. Does anybody else have the same experience? I contacted Pioneer, but they say that the update is normal, but you should be able to listen to music while the update is running.(which is apparently not the case for us)

I really love the idea, but hate that they made it so cheap. Is there another company that does it properly, with 6 channel output for sub, a 2nd usb and wireless charging?

I bet it don’t charge the phone when it’s in it cradle .Gotta have some stupid wire sticking out of it ? … good idea just needs 3 out puts and built in charge….

It can be done but it will also raise the price of the unit..I don't mind using a short USB cable if it saves me money but I still have quality.

Is it possible to maintain the iPhone (I have iPhone 11 since 3 years) locked with turned off display and then rianimate the same finding directly the Pioneer app without any problem? I don’t want to have the display always activated. On iPhone it gives very high battery drain. And I don’t want to take iPhone always in charge via the USB on the radio, because constantly charging (I use my car often) ruins the battery. Thanks and greetings from Italy🇮🇹

I do like the idea of this but I think it's a little risky legally. You can't interact with your phone while driving and I'm sure if you got pulled by a particularly grumpy police officer they could do you for it. My Mrs has vw up and to me that has a similar issue. Just a thought...
