Hi, the only difference is the AVH-X5050BT will play CDs and DVDS. MVH is a mechless unit.

Is this multimedia support usb mobile dongle with 4G sim card? Or special port for sim card?

Interested in this unit but wanted to know if you need the phone connected to usb to use android auto. Reason I ask is I still use an ipod for music and that would need to be connected to USB, this seems to have only one USB port if I am correct.

Hi, sorry for the very late response. To use Android Auto you do need to connect via the USB connection
