One of the things that seems to never get mentioned is that during pipeline construction is that the bears figured out have to use their claws to pop out the front window of a vehicle and remove you lunch and or other food items so this necessitated that professional auto glass people be employed to keep repairing the windows.
@backtothebeatproductions Жыл бұрын
i'm sure the pipeline's employment reached very far. i have another documentary on the building of the Alaskan highway system i hope to share soon. Worked the same way, it employed thousands.

Not mentioned in the film- it has been said of the pipeline "never have so many done so little for so much'....not to take away from those who did the actual work but there was alot of driftwood...hangers on....I have many friends who worked on it. This was a cost plus project, similar to the KBR Iraq war contract.

@@LQ-C I was trying to point out how we use to produce such quality products that they were wanted by most other countries. We don’t manufacture and export much here in the USA anymore. Unfortunately we depend on foreign imports of which much is low quality.
@prevost868610 ай бұрын
@@snydedon9636Our steel has become a “boutique” item like many of our once plentiful products of high quality and affordable prices. The biggest lie ever sold to the American people was NAFTA. Sell-out Democrats and Republicans alike betrayed their own country for their own interests. It has gutted our industry and turned skilled workers into fast food employees. Only America is stupid enough to refuse to protect their markets and industries from unfair trade practices by countries that are bent on destroying the United States. There’s a reason why career politicians like Biden, Clinton, Obama enter politics broke as a convict and retire worth millions of dollars. Plenty of Republicans in that nest of snakes too. The United States has been betrayed by its own government and its long past the time for many of them to pay for their crimes against this country.
