Can you please specify, which code specifies minimum distance to be maintained between welds i.e. 100 mm in this case. ?.. I could not find anything in B31.3.....

Hi Sachin, You are correct there is no code indicates 100 mm requirement. This is a requirement from welding integrity due to conflict of Heat affected zone. Try Google this term to know more about it.

Sir i have question regarding scope as you said in video valve is on hold bcoz process team also send information to valve vandor but as i know from my class my sir told that VMS (valve material seat) prepartion work is in our scope means in piping engineer scope

See all manual valves are done by piping. But other valves such as MOV and control valve are done by respective team, we give recommendations only for materials.
