I am always on the side of the government when it comes to enacting the law, and I believe that what happened to ABS-CBN is just. But I never wanted them to end. Sana maayos na ang dispute. This was my favorite channel since childhood, siguro except sa anime era ng GMA at TV5 noon, pero for the most part sila talaga eh. Up until now sila paren. Now that I've seen the humble man behind the voice, I now wish for the channel to last, atleast until the last days of this man right here. Kung mapapadpad ka sa ibang lugar at narinig mo tong boses na to, pakiramdam mo nasa Pinas ka paren at nasa bahay eh. I WISH FOR YOUR CONTINUED SERVICE

But the government has double standards on the 'law'. The 'law' works on the likes of Mocha Uson, Koko Pimentel and Bong Go, but it fails the Filipino, may they be poor or a journalist. ABS-CBN had filed to renew its franchise since 2016 and they have submitted pleas 9 times. They did not break any law, they paid all fines and taxes as necessary. Duterte himself said (on December 2019) that he will shut ABS-CBN down because 'they were putting him in a bad light' when in fact, all they did was report what he was doing and what Malacañang has been saying. I still wish to hear your argument better. Enlighten me. But before that, tell me- what did ABS-CBN do wrong? What laws did they break? Siding with the government does not always mean siding with its people

my childhood with ABS-CBN will never be the same kung hindi na siya ang nagbo-boses. As an adult now listening to his nostalgic VO, I find his voice calming for a number of reasons too.
