I would imagine, like Pippa says, these people just vastly underestimated the sheer amount of work that comes with their dream project. It takes a certain sort of madness to want to undertake a giant creative project, and I hypothesize the stress of *theoretically* having all the tools you need to make it a reality... and failing miserably, running up constantly against the realities of production, and the pressure of having been paid by people and being harried by them to get them SOMETHING worth their trust in you... it probably breaks people in terrible ways.

This is called a "soft omce per turn", because any means of getting it off the field lets you use its effect again! "You can only use this effect of [CARDNAME] once per turn" - this also only lets you do a thing once, HOWEVER, it doesn't reset when you take the card off the field - you have to wait for your next turn if you want to do that effect again (also known as a "hard once per turn") reading the card DOES explain the card... unless the card is Last Turn i don't think anyone can explain that one. Yu-Gi-Oh being super pedantic about its rules is different than reading the card not explaining what it does, though
