I love the shot of what I assume is their vendor table at their first convention. It must be a very small con, but that is obviously in a Hotel's conference room. That is almost universally the venue for small cons.

That shot is a reference to the first Off-Kai Expo booth, it was done in cooperation with Tsunderia. Dizzy's PL in that shot references the fact that she had left Tsunderia prior to the con, but worked at the booth. This led to a lot of rumors that she left her dual role at Tsunderia for a strictly management role in PC.

Looks like their booth at Anime Expo in 2022. They were put in the back of the entertainment hall and where I found out about Phase Connect.

People were commenting on how weird they thought it was that Sakana as arranging "play dates" during predebut, but when you're dealing with a bunch of menhera, autistic, introverts, it makes a lot of sense. You also do want someone who can follow basic instructions so long as the instructions make sense. Hololive also lets predebut talents get to know each other. Compared to NijiEN, were a few gens have been confirmed to have been kept in the dark about each other... yeah, Sakana made the right decision.

@@DuamerthraxNijisanji has its problems but they wrote the book when it comes to talents interacting with each other. I don't know if you remember back when it was just HoloEn gen 1, those five initially barely interacted with each other. NijiEn had members randomly joining each other's streams just for fun and a lot of offcollabs. Hololive got a lot better with collabs once Council debuted.

In case you are new-ish and don't get part of the joke, the joke is that one of the senior managers of Tsunderia, Urara, refused to allow Sakana to become a shareholder. Over time, Tsunderia shut down and this manager became Sakana's RL wife. We know this person now by a different name, I.e. Tenma Maemi. She is now one of the talents employed by our beloved coffee asylum and also the reason Sakana allows Maemi-chan to berate him endlessly. Humu humu.

IIRC for Niji JP the former head talent manager or someone similar was friendly and popular with their chuubas, but he left Tazumi tried to force himself to be beloved after seeing YAGOO but it didn't stick, but this year he's certainly earned himself memedom for different reasons

@@Arashi257nah, more like gotten too busy to show up on twitter, especially after Phase Euphoria's debut which make Phase Connect have 22 talent at that point before Phase JP debuted. Beside Muumi wasn't depicted as dead, but rather an angelic savior that saved Phase Connect as a whole.
