There is no problem with aiming high and falling short. The benefit is the learning and the experience for the future. Team dynamics have changed for many clubs in the Premiership look at Man U for example. Well next season will be upon us soon and battles will commence. From languishing in the bottom three to finishing 5th , there is no disgrace.....more progress. We just fell short at the final hurdle..... As regards the "project" , the Kroenkes have to invest money in abundance if they want success back at Arsenal. Ironically, Spurs and Newcastle, two teams that did strengthen both in players and management defeated us when it really mattered. Still, I appreciate the efforts of our extremely thin and relatively young team. The board and management will not get an unlimited pool of goodwill. They have got to act decisively in this window.

Champions league would have been a bonus, if not only for the injuries of Tierney, Party and Auba's/Vlahovic issues, all would have been possible. With reinforcements next season, we should win a trophy and qualify for Champions league comfortably.
