One thing I'd like to add about reconsidering is that having a constant willingness to reconsider everything is not always a good thing. There are infinite amount of experiences and perspectives and constantly reconsidering your views based on the rest can put you in a state in which you'll have trouble from recognizing right from wrong and become fragmented. Keep an open mind but also stand by what you believe and think.

@SD_KoyАй бұрын
I have a few thoughts that I want to spew out real quick since I actually watched the video all the way through. 1. I commend all of your efforts. It's not easy managing even a small team of people, let alone volunteers. The fact that this crazy, hectic, and frankly insane project went on for as long as it did just shows the kind of work ethic you have. This isn't a failure, but one of the biggest lessons you will ever have. Be proud of all that you and your team(s) were able to accomplish. 2. From the beginning, as you stated, this seemed like an impossible project. Obviously building in Minecraft is faster than building in real life, but it took hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people to build all the buildings on Earth. The sheer numbers alone make this kind of mega project so outside of the realm of imagination. 3. (And this one sounds parasocial, I'm sorry) I've gotten the sense for a couple of years at least that this project was far too much for you to handle mentally anymore. Putting your whole career into one project can be risky, but I am glad you have come out to the other side of this thing and you can feel free to move on. Build the Earth is dead, long live Build the Earth. Cheers for the entertainment, and here is to the next chapter of life. o/
@electroyt5026Ай бұрын
I just want to point out real quick that no, buildtheearth isn't dead. Pippen stepping back and changing the management structure of the project (which happened more than a year ago already) doesn't mean the project is discontinued.

Replied to a comment of yours Pippen, though you allowed me to see something I didn't see in myself. Your journey over the past four years is very similar to mine. An interest of mine, trading the financial markets started because it was a trend. Ten's of thousands of dollars completely wasted and burned with no progress ever made. It is time I end this chapter for good. Thank you. I should have realized this a year ago, however I am doing it now. Cancelling everything and saying goodbye to my close trading friend. I know a lot of friends that are good builders in my country and we're interested in participating, but they can't participate in this project because they don't own the game, so yeah... This project will never finish... It will always be unfinished, In the meaning of "some cities and countries will not be built", or if built, badly built because someone outside of the place is trying to build it... 🤷🏻♂️ Also, I would like to download some parts of the BtE map, but it's a pain using mods that would copy chunks... I'm working on a project with a friend to build old theatres from our city, and maybe at some point building the city... We might post it at some point...

You will succeed. I've watched your videos since 2021, I wanted to help my country in their project, but I'm not a builder, I wanted to help, but I still don't know how. At least in my opinion, being a part of BTE is voluntary, but it's a social community project that will be a relic for the future creatures inhabiting our planet. You've changed my opinion by a huge margin. I started playing Minecraft when I was 11. Back then I only thought that I can build on modded version with nice blocks, but your project proves that's not true. I always thought of your project as being impossible to accomplish, just because of how vast and unique landscapes you can find in different countries. I was deeply believing that if this project comes to it's end, it's never going to be finally over, because of changes we already commit to our planet. PippenFTS, if you want to make history, you have to commit ALL of your life. After that, after you are no longer with us, other people will feel the destiny to accomplish your dream.
