Definitely Danny - the reference to ‘Motion in the Ocean’ and filming at Dreamland in Margate were the giveaways. He tried to mask his ‘real’ singing voice a little bit it’s him for sure!

They put the Dreamland sign up but that isn't Dreamland in Margate and the beach was Whitstable. I don't think he tried very hard to mask his voice. It was pretty obvious, much like Charlie's last year who many thought was James Arthur.

The little breaths he does at the end of each line remind me of that show where celebs learned to sing opera and Danny Jones kept getting in trouble with the teachers because of his 'pop breath' 🤣🤣💀 It's been in the back of my mind ever since because I hadn't really thought about it like that before but it was actually really obvious lol. But his opera performance was really good in the end and no hint of pop breath! The piranha performance was definitely a more mature sound which is probably why it wasn't instantly obvious to me - I still think of McFly as teenagers lol (I sounded really old there). He sounded bloody amazing and tbh that was a series-winning performance right there.

@@user-wh9ug3zl6m The only other option I instantly thought of for that great power, range and emoting is Adam Lambert trying to hide the distinctive rasp in his higher register and growl in his lower register but "Piranha" is far too short, even with the fish head on, to be Adam Lambert who is a couple of inches taller than Joel.
