I’m definitely wanting to give this a go ! Do you feel like the papier-mâché held up really well? At first I was going to do some kind of foam and felt fabric but this looks so cool how you got it to move around too!

It did but I would do five layers. People loved seeing it move when I wore it. I still have it and it still looks good. Your costume will be perfect ❤️

How long did you wait for the paper mache to dry before you painted??

It was probably a day to fully dry. It depends on the weather.

What type of paint did you use? My acrylic paint keeps just flaking off my styrofoam pipe insulations

I used house paint. I had some around the house and it was the only paint that would stick. If you go to a hardware store they sometimes have sample paint for 1/2 off.

I got a 48 inch beach ball and that feels like it's way biggers than yours? Is that the correct measurement?

Hello. Yes I double checked the packaging of the ball and it says 48” wide. It is a big ball. It still surprises me when I use it 🙈 please let me know if there’s more I can help with and thank you for being here 💗
