sethbling, wanna a real challenge ? make a map WITHOUT any editing, by hand, as cool as the others but without the only custom spawner, custom heights, etc... Well if you make it that would be really impressive, here it's not making things, it is just coding things ! We don't even know if you placed yourself a single block in your maps :/

Seth, I found a more efficient way of doing this. You don't need the blaze, so you can take that away. You can keep the spawner filters, but add one that can spawn redstone, or even dispensers. There is a way you can do this with the proximity detector from one of your previous videos where is tells where it needs to shoot. Hope this helped, thanks.

Can people shut the fuck up about sethbling making stuff without mcedit?!? Let him experiment with what i wants and make what he wants. I enjoy this and it's cool to see what possible with mcedit. Most stuff with just redstone has already been done so it's not that exciting anymore. These mcedit stuff are new and cool, and there is so much more to be discovered!

I completely disagree with this. Everyone knows how to use simple redstone, but there aren't as many that know how to do the things he knows how to do. Personally, I would prefer for him to use NBTEdit because my computer can't handle MCEdit, and I use a server to load and show off simple schematics I have made.

Sethbling, I think the Piranha Plant should stay down if the player is a certain distance away like one block. Anyways this is just my opinion and, I know the limitations of Minecraft so, I won't force you, but if you do make it please put a download link so I can see it. Thank you. :)

Its not that complicated, whats complicated is the filters that he wrote so that it took him maybe 5 minutes to do all the below ground stuff aside from the pot of harming and the blaze. (Check out his two videos that show a house, those are about the building spawner filters, now thats complicated.)

no, no, no! The plant it was based off of is called a Venus FLY Trap! Piranha Plants are the enemies that just go up and down, whereas Veneus FIRE Traps are the fire breathing Piranha Plants, along with Venus Ice Traps being the ice breathing ones.

Childs play. Have a splash potion of damage spawner with a radius of 2 and set it under the grass block the plant is on. When you go over the flower it will kill you with a damage potion. Seth has done much more advanced things using this principle before.

I just made this same thing, except the blaze is in a piston cell where the face is covered 1/2 of the time, so the other half it shoots from it's 1x1x2 cell. Awesome if I do say so myself. Very computer friendly, too.

But if you go far away from the spawner, won't the timming be off? because there is a spawner distance limit for spawning, so if the redstone clock will keep working but not the spawner, then all the timming will be off.

Make a whole mario bros mini map with flaming bows as fire flower or somthing and finaly make it a 2d world with only 1 block for the whole mini map using the bottoms of dors so its invisible or however you can get it invisible

he used his edit spawner properties filter to make it spawn a blaze in only that location (as well as setting the max mob count to "1," increasing the spawn radius, making the timing right, etc.)

no, if you use the testfor then you could use a scoreboard and post the one with the highest level, and when the person returns the flag just reset their xp
