Poor Dragonzord. He looked all sorts of confused in this fight. Like he really dodnt want to fight Megazord but was just doing what he was told to do.

This is so much better than the spliced season 2 footage, they should have worked with the original footage and introduced the thunderzords later

The original script called for the Thunderzord switch, however the Megazord had one last fight against Pirhantishead and Dragonzord which it lost, prompting the Thunderzord upgrade on the spot, and a bright light from the Thunder Megazord broke the hold over Dragonzord before Tommy returned it to the sea.

It was not a thing, but a concept Toei came up with before Saban negotiated with them and Bandai for rights to use the Dairanger mech, since it was cheaper just to import footage than to create something new from scratch.

This is probably how the original idea for the upgraded Zyu3 Dinozords would have been implemented. Instead of replacing them with the Thunderzords.

Zyu2 should've been left untouched. Let the same story play out, but leave the footage alone. Then you could've switched all 6 suits either at White Light or The Power Transfer.

Teach me. Because I wanna edit the Green Candle, Doomsday, and Return of an Old Friend. I once uploaded the edit version of the dino megazord/cyclops fight without the green candle footage, but my video was blocked and I had no choice but to delete it. What should I do?

Most of my stuff gets copyrighted as well. I found that having less footage from 1 solid episode reduces the risk.

@@davehuard3352 now that’s a smart idea. In fact, I’m still half way through the Cyclopsis zord battle with the Green Ranger footages, so far.

@davehuard3352 It would have been easier for them to just film new parts for Tommy and not have him lose his Powers. It wasn't far from the end of the normal footage, so once they started filming Zyu2, they could have had him in it all the way.

The original footage was most probably Ultrazord; however I wanted to feature as many different finishers in my edits so changed it to megadragonzord.

No the original footage was Thunder Megazord destroying Pirantishead. The Dinozords were destroyed by Lord Zedd

@@mattmaverick703 we were referring to the Zyu2 footage. You can tell which finisher is used depending on how the monster reacts. This has an outward explosion which was used by ultrazord. So when they filmed it ultrazord was probably the intended finisher.

@@mattmaverick703 no that’s not the original footage. That was the footage that was used in Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. But in the original Zyu2 footage that wasn’t used in MMpR season 2. It was shown that the Ultrazord was the one that destroyed Pirantishead.

@@LloydBaron so in reality the original zords were still used during season 2 even after Zedd came? Never knew that I just thought in The Mutiny the old zords were destroyed and what was left used to create the new Thunderzords which in my opinion were way more powerful and cooler

As far as I'm aware, the zord footage (apart from the tiny bit from Zedd's monster mash) was never released.
