Pirastro Artist Interview: Augustin Hadelich

In our final 'Pirastro Artist Interview' the amazing violinist Augustin Hadelich shares his earliest musical memory of gathering with the family around the piano. He also speaks about the consistent reliability of Evah Pirazzi strings and that he is looking forward to the release of his new Bach recording soon.

another thing i like about the Evah Pirazzi strings, besides everything he mentioned, is that they stay in tune for days, even weeks at a time. back when i used gut, i was constantly having to re-tune.

He never says what strength his Pirazzis are.. I assume they're in medium gauge since he doesn't ever comment on it, is that correct?

Yes, he uses the Evah Pirazzi medium gauge combined with a Gold E Stark.
