I've really been enjoying this pirate doom 2 series! And the lizard creatures you saw walking in the background are villains from Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo. That was really cool!

Very few Doom wads have forests, so it was good to see so many trees and grass in this map. ^_^

The creature that was walking around at 4:20 is actually a Klomp, a common enemy from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. It is basically a pirate counterpart of the Kritter, frequently occuring enemies in the Donkey Kong franchise.

I was wondering what was on sight. 🔭Kremlin or (Kroc's to be exact) are from indeed Donkey Kong Country 2 since that game is Pirate theme. I almost forget that I never knew you like doing Nostalgia reading when playing this game. I gotta remember that next time. 🤔 Those Baron's aye yei yeeeeeeeeei they are never a good thing when blasting to you for ton of damage. 😬 Very good playthrough as usual. That next map better include Spider Mastermind if it's a Chess Queen style. 🤓

I actually love the gallows as well. I'm not sure why, though. :) Centuries ago, almost every town and city in my country used to have a place called "Gallows' Hill," where executions took place. Several of these places kept its name until today, so whenever I happen to be to one of them, I know the gallows used to stand right there. It's a bit creepy, but somehow inspiring.

Oh yes. As you know, a lot of executions back then were public, and even in some parts of the U S. as late as 1930s. You could even take your kids, lol.

@@BigMacDavis I know. :) In my country, the last public execution took place in 1947, when Václav Hanke, a Nazi officer, was condemned to the gallows. And the kids were allowed to attend either. :)

We got to get you to play some old NES, SNES, and N64 games. Super Mario, Donkey Kong, and Zelda. Then you could pick up on the finer points of these mods.

Nice video! Well, an entrance *is* an exit on the opposite side. This was a nice and chill map, between the low monster count and the calm outdoor areas, I liked this change of pace compared to the last ones. Now to play Chess with the Queen... and hope she doesn't defeat you!
