It's probably because of the way you put it. In Golf with Friends, you click and drag your mouse to get a certain power, while in Tower Unite, the power follows your courser, and then you click to release. This game has an actual golf club, that you have to hit at the ball at a certain speed to get a different power. It's difficult because you can't gauge your power by a divided bar or the color of a line, you can only guess at most times.
