i know this comment is from 5 months ago but i must ask, did you have a teacher? learning this wouldve been quite hard and i currently dont have a piano teacher i was wondering if i would need one at all or whether i should just self teach.
@Vince371 Жыл бұрын
@@hakatackagaming4634I’ve been playing for just over a year now self-taught, never had a teacher (I can’t afford one). I’d say that having a teacher is always gonna be better, but everything they can teach you, you can find online (if you know where to look).

@@hakatackagaming4634 a couple things to note: while there are some things about piano online, it's drastically less than with other fields. It's not like coding, for example. How to read sheet music and basic music theory is probably as far as you'll get on the internet (unless you really spend a lot of time researching), which is adequate to learn a song, but teachers will be able to correct you on mistakes you didn't even know existed. Having a teacher is 10 times more helpful than learning on your own. That being said, I actually suggest you don't get a teacher if you want to learn songs like the ones yoshi puts out. Classically trained pros who actually know what they're doing typically don't want to humor students who just want to play soundtracks. They'll insist you learn classical pieces that they assign to you, because they're in it for the long haul and are prepared to mentor you and guide your growth for years with a set strategy they've developed over decades of teaching. A teacher willing to help you with whatever you want to play is likely not a serious professional and therefore a waste of money anyway.

piano playing is more than good but: in my opinion you left a lot dynamic and "feeling" behind just to get more "left-hand" notes in. I mean: playing is super impressive! you can´t argue with that but arrangement isn´t just getting the depth in my opinion. You are an amazing piano player but give the music more room to breath.

I agree man.. I think he has an electronic piano and that by default doesn't allow him to adjust the pressure exerting with his left fingers. The melody should be pointed out all the rest is ancillary.
