Pirates vs Outpost and Pirates First Impressions - Neuroshima Hex

This is my first play through of the newest army for Neuroshima Hex, Pirates.
I also included my first impressions, which I may separate into another video.

A way of resolving battles that Zee Garcia taught me is to do the highest initiative and start in one corner, go through each row placing the wound markers, then clear out everything and finally go onto the next initiative. It really helped make sure everything is accounted for properly.

Mephistio uses implants too. But I would love for them to be used a little less extreme like they are in Pirates for future armies.

Great point! Having one or maybe two won't be too challenging to keep track of.

The center space does seem ideal when against pirates as none of the water spaces can attack there

44:06 will the drift harpoon and the pirates hq move after the battle?

Yes. To quote from the rules: "At the end of a Battle, simultaneously move each unit with the Drift trait to the next Water space in clockwise order (you may also rotate the unit in any direction)."
