Truth is seedorf didn't deserve to be sacked in Milan. It was the board that just wanted to sell players
@sapientiaeclavis92447 жыл бұрын
The players didn't like him, he gave a lot of attention to Balotelli and team selection was bad. Great guy, I hope he returns when he has some more experience, but if your first job is AC Milan, it's hard to succeed. Same for Inzaghi.

Lol all of those guys mentioned are miles ahead of Bergkamp. Champions League winners, World Cup winners, Ballon d'Or winners, etc.. No offense to Bergkamp, but he was struggling in Italy and had to go to the Premier League, which was probably the 5th strongest league in Europe at the time.

i dont know..is it because i was a child/teen when these legends where playing..but seeing these interviews: viera, del piero, seedorf..brings people into my mind..Nesta, Maldini, R. Carlos, Batistuta, Shevchenko, Zidane, Mathäus, Scholes, Giggs, Raul, Figo...and all the other legends from that time..i always think "nowadays them players are not so legendary"..i mean, sure we got messi, ronaldo, ..but all them others dont seem so "glamorous" to me..pogba, hazard, salah, sane..whoever..is it the typical glorification of the youth? like for my father he would name players from the 60s/70s.. for example the liverpool - milan CL final..look at milan..line-up reads like fifa all stars team on playstation..

This Milan midfield they also had Redondo, Rui Costa... so many skilful, artistic players. I'm a Juve fan myself but will never forget that evening in September 2002 when I watched Milan demolish Deportivo La Coruna 4-0 at the Riazor (a place where Arsenal, Juventus and Man Utd had lost before). It was the first time I was witnessing Pirlo, Seedorf and Rui Costa playing together for Milan alongside Gattuso and Nesta and I thought: this is a team that is definitely going places.
