Pisay Truths & Misconceptions: addressing the stereotypes of philippine science high school scholars

To everyone who's asking for the coverage of the NCE and looking for some inspiration from current science high school students, check out Mitsa Tutoring, a student-led organization dedicated to helping elementary students interested in pursuing science and studying in science high schools. This coming September 4, they will be releasing modules and reviewers for the science high schools entrance exams. This coming October, Mitsa will also be opening applications for their Mentorship Program for elementary students. Hello po, I passed the laqe for g8 and magstastart pa lang ako ng pisay, but as I know, sa grade 7 (NCE), grade 8 (LAQE) and last chance n'yo na po grade 9 (LAQE) na lang entry for pisay.. After grade 9 no chance for entry na po.. For the questions po, for me, I passed the G8 LAQE barely reviewing haha, as in wala po halos review, reread lang ng notes gano'n.. Dapat po you belong to the 5% of your class, 85-100 ave, and you must pay for the fees (babayaran s'ya if you want to take an entrance exam, for us 600+ total po nabayad) and yes po! All you need to do is pass the entrance exam, sign some contracts then enrolllll :))

Don’t worry hindi ka mag-isa :( hindi talaga ganun kadali mag-shift from elementary to Pisay, lalo na online classes pa ngayon, pero kinakaya naman with the help of your peers and even teachers! :) I suggest na you make friends within your batch, and as much as possible, you stick together dahil kayo kayo rin ang magtutulungan! Also, don’t worry too much about getting high grades, focus about doing your best from one thing to another lang :) Always prioritize your well-being okay! Kahit na anong dami ng ginagawa don’t forget to rest and take breaks. Laban lang, 2026!

Hello. Makikisingit lang HAHAHAHAHAHH pero walang entrance test for shs application sa Pisay. The only entrance test that can be taken is for incoming freshies, but you can apply for lateral examination (that is if there’s slots for you) kaso ‘yong lateral examination is hanggang grade 9 lang hehu.
