I’m sorry to hear this. It’s absolutely no fun with somebody pulls this move, but unfortunately it’s usually because they’ve got a traumatic past and self-confidence issues. Not making an excuse it’s just always been really hard for me to not think about that part and feel bad for them. Hopefully he’ll take a look at himself and realize that he’s just trying to manipulate you, and that’s totally not fair to you at all. Just don’t break down and contact him or try to talk to him because then he’ll know he has the power and will just continue to use these kind of maneuvers to try to get what he wants. If he does approach you and try to lie or pull some other BS just calmly explain that you’re not willing to play games. They definitely can’t stand it when you’re calm and don’t get your emotions involved, especially when they pull stunts like this.
