It's been a year long of healing, but that memory revives the hurt and stalls me every now and then. My biggest fear now is forgiveness. I fear releasing the cloak and breaking down the walls that feel safe and become vulnerable to the world and to him again. I have been hearing the word karma and seeing the number eight oftentimes, and I want to be able to release myself, be able to forgive, love, and continue to grow. I've been filling up my own cup and before ot spills over into nothing, I want to be able to pour into other's. I started this year with a burst of energy to work out, clean, air out my home, and open all the windows to allow light in. I love the energy within my home and within me. I’m feeling really bereft about losing contact with my granddaughter who seems to have decided that she doesn’t want me in her life anymore despite the love and closeness we once shared. I’m trying to find a way to keep myself busy and not dwelling on it but I’m finding it difficult. I’m currently rearranging things within my home to give myself a different outlook and have splurged on new cosmetics and clothes as I know it’s time to start putting myself first rather than others and making sure I don’t lose myself in despair and unhappiness. Like in the cards: Reassessing an old friendship now (Scorpio woman), due to her trauma dumping all the time and talking over/ interrupting / not allowing others their turn to speak. Exhausting. Considering creating some space for my own mental sanity. She already has a therapist. I encouraged her to use a voice recorder instead as a form of journaling to "get out" her emotions this way instead, then sharing the recording with her therapist.

Canada's PM resigned. I felt his energy when he made the announcement, the stress of trying to do the right thing, the sadness and grief were palpable.
