Piscifun Alijoz 400 XH Baitcaster reel Unboxing, thoughts and first impression

Welcome back everyone
Who doesn't love a great reel especially at a great bargain price
I was so impressed with the Alijoz 300, couldn't resist getting my hands on the 400 size reel
Will be heading out in a couple of weeks to put this reel in action chasing Jewfish, Hopefully ill get some action, hook-ups, share the footage & my thoughts with you in the near future

when you turn the handle with the clicker on and it's loud, imagine how loud and deeper it will be if you're pulling the line off the spool like a fish running with bait it'll be even louder.

After using it, there is no way I will be leaving the clicker on while reeling in, good as a baitrunner but not for reeling Would be nice to have it only when fish is running like on the upgrade kit I installed on the 300

Looking forward to any updates. I got the tranx 500hg very similar to the alijos 300/400 specs. It's proving a bit of a monster to cast. It's a bit of a combo of the bigger spool weight needing more inertia to send the weight out and the rod being a bit to firm. I have it paired with the shimano jewel 8-15kg rod 7'10". That speed master rod looks nice and a little softer to give a lighter weight little more flick to get it moving. I loaded up the drag about 2/3 on mine and tied to the ground lent into it a little my set up feels nice. I have to let go the weight at say 5 or 4 o'clock and it would go well past the 12 o'clock.

Cant wait to give it a test run, i was itching to get the Tranx 400 as i have the 500 on a 10ft Crucis jap rod which is a great match for land based fishing, but i do find it just that little bulky for consistent casting lures, did eventually work out a casting style that works for me, sort of a spin n slingshot I have filmed it to see how i can improve technique, i might make a little video and share on my channel but im really hoping this 400 casts like the 300, will defiantly make an update video

​@hkeepingitreel7441 i would love to see casting between your baitcaster setups. Just to see technique, what each rod can handle lightest weight/ heavy, how much thumb control. A spool weight would be inderesting as well if possible. Any tips and tricks would be the best. Its not about distance for me just consistancy and location. From the boat i only have to cast 15m tops with a a whole pilchard i can fish as light as 10z sinker (small tides).

Nice video and very informative. What type of line do you have on the 300? Like the look of it.

Thanks mate The braid lin on the 300 is Sougayilang X12 #0.6 I purchased it from Ali express online, very thin and smooth, first time I use it, so far no issues

Does the thumb bar fell really cheap and hollow or like really solid plastic
